Hello,
I have an HP All-in-one machine that is connected to my home network. (Not an enterprise domain at all.)
My PC is not equipped with a fax modem, and it is connected to my network via Ethernet.
I would like to use WIndows Fax and Scan to send and receive faxes, rather than printing a document I worked on, only to place it back into the same machine and send it out as a fax.
I'd also like to receive faxes using Fax and Scan so they will come as a digital copy to my local hard drive rather than printing out from my all-in-one.
I actually have an old XP laptop that is using the old Fax Console to accomplish this. But XP and the laptop its running on are outdated and I need to use my newer computer to take over this function. However, my Windows 10 system does not have Fax Console.
Fax and Scan asks for a local modem, or a Fax Server on the network. How do I get my Win10 machine to use my all-in-one?
If there is additional information that I need to provide, please let me know. Thanks!
Carlo
