Windows 10 Windows 10 ICS (Internet connection sharing) is not working correctly.

For context, I am trying to use one long ethernet cable to give two computers internet. WI-FI is not strong enough where the computers are located to use that as a solution . One of the computers has two gigabit LAN connections, and is the one that I am trying to enable ICS on to try to pass the connection to the second computer, which has one gigabit port. The problem is that when enabling it on the "ethernet" adapter sharing to "ethernet 2" in control panel, the internet connection of *both* computers drops out entirely.
