Then a new update for Windows 10 downloaded on my computer and now all of a sudden when I am in my file folder with preview pane on, when I click on a Word document to preview it, I get an error message that states, "Word could not create the work file. Check the temp environment variable." I click OK and it goes away and I can see the preview just fine. It's more of an annoyance than anything. I can use Office just fine. It just happens when in Explorer. I have looked up the error message and tried all sorts of things to fix it, including creating the INetCache.Word folder and changing the registry keys. I even uninstalled Office and reinstalled. Nothing has worked. Is there a fix to this?
