I just recently got a new computer and, at first, was able to view the thumbnails for all of my pictures in File Explorer but then, they stopped showing one day. I never made any changes during this time and I can still view the picture when I click on the icons. I also can very briefly see the images appear when I first open the File Explorer file but then they return to the picture icons. I have searched and tried fixing the issue by unselecting the "Always Show Icons, Never Thumbnails" as well as "Always Show Menu" boxes under the File Explorer Options Menu.
