I built a new Windows 10 PC a few months back and chose the Nvidia RTX2070 super graphics card. I also upgraded to a Benq 4K monitor which is connected via USBC and I have a 1920 HD monitor connected via a standard display connector. I am on the current studio driver having used DDU to remove all old drivers and load a new one in safe mode. The driver is 27.21.14.1518 Nvidia 451.48. I have 64G of RAM and have tested that. I've had a range of issues. Sometimes I was working in Photoshop or Premiere and the system slowed to a crawl - the mouse didn't move, or very slowly, the screens went black and eventually I have to force a restart using the power button. I changed the power setting for the PC to maximum performance after that. Then I have issues in Photoshop where I have spent some time drawing a detailed path and I see the screen flicker to black and then back to normal, some strange flashing colors in odd places in the image which are not there when you zoom into that area, and then Photoshop just exits. When I look at the event viewer, I usually see a NVLDDMKM driver error, then I see an Nvidia OpenGL driver with error code 3 subcode 2 and then the display recovers. Of course, Photoshop has fully exited. I can continue to use the PC after this. I can sort of force the crash - I drew a long path and then render flames along it. The odd color pixels flashed as this was happening, but the flames rendered, but shortly after that, Photoshop crashed. The card is still relatively new (3 months), so I'd like to find out if this is hardware related. I do have an older graphics card that I can reinstall, but that is quite a bit of hassle if there is a software fix! Any ideas? Steve
