Windows 10 Windows 10 pi.exe application error

In Windows 10, the default app for opening jpg is Microsoft Digital Suite 2006. However, I often get an error pi.exe application error. "The application was unable to start correctly oxc0000142"I love this app and want to use it without getting an error.
