Hi,
I've been trying to install the MySQL server/workbench (Workbench 8.0), and the application would not open. No error was displayed on the screen either. I also tried running the MySQL installer 8.0.21 (MySQL :: Download MySQL Installer), and the installer would not load either. I tried to open up Powershell from CMD to try and run the MySQL installer, but I received the error: "Version v4.0.30319 of the .NET Framework is not installed and it is required to run version 3 of Windows PowerShell."
Up to this point, I have reinstalled Windows and cleared my entire C:\ drive, but upon a fresh install of Windows 10 I still have the same issues as above. Trying to install version 4.0 to 4.5 doesn't work either, as .Net 4.8 is already installed.
