Hello,

I recently installed Windows 10 from Win 7 after upgrading my hard drive to a solid state drive. Since the upgrade Window only see's half of the installed RAM. I have read numerous articles and tried many different fixes and suggestions but to no avail.

Is it possible there is an issue with the latest Windows 10 OS and the motherboard or chipset I use?

  • I have the latest BIOS installed.
  • CPU-Z shows the full 16GB RAM I have installed / Windows shows 8GB?
  • The SPD in BIOS shows all 4 memory sticks at 4GB each, but Windows says 8GB?

Please Help.
