Has anyone run into an issue with KB4515384 update and Google Chrome?
In a nut shell, I can launch Chrome and its fine till I close the program. I tried opening it but nothing responded. I open Task Manager/Details and there is a chrome.exe programs running. I try to End Task for the program but it results into having the Access is Denied Error Message. If I restart my machine I can reopen but the error will happen again after I close Google.
No issues with any other program and this did not start till after the 10/3/19 update
I am at a loss, being looking for a fix for 2 days
Chrome can not be killed even with taskkill /F /IM chrome.exe from the Cmd. That results in ERROR: The process "chrome.exe" with PID 560 could not be terminated.
Reason: There is no running instance of the task.
Here's what I've tried
-Reimaged my machine and did a complete install (Making me believe the issue has to do with the most recent update)
-Completely deleted Google and reinstalled
-Running Kaspersky: Allowed through firewall and ran full virus scans
-Running Malwarebytes and ran full scans
-Removed all extensions from Chrome
-Clear all history and caches in Chrome
-Ran Disk Cleanup and System file Clean up
-Removed Windows Fast Startup
