Hi Folks,
I have just DL'd the above W10 software and re-set my machine, a 64 Bit i7-2600 CPU, 16G ram and 250G SSD.
Several things are happening
1. No signal to monitor (Samsung 75" LED) pops up on screen but computer is still running (assumed because fans are running) and requires a 20 second sustained push on power button to shut down.
2. Screen froze (one occasion only) no obvious cause.
There is some history here. The machine was purchased with a 80G SSD running W7. When I had the opportunity to upgrade to W10 I had to replace SSD as it was too small. My supplier cloned my drive and reinstated it onto the 250G SSD. It took a while to sort the bugs, but it settled down.
Only issue was it would not update anything which is why I reset the software using a dl from microsoft site. Amazingly it worked and I have the Version and Build noted above.
The only thing that I could fid was the NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 display adapters (2) needed drivers updated. That done problems remain.
I think I need some help.
