Windows 10 Windows 10 won't automatically switch to tablet mode

Hi there. So I have an HP Envy x360 laptop. When I go to fold it into a tent or tablet form, it won't automatically switch into tablet mode. It's set to automatically switch in settings, and the keyboard and trackpad won't turn off when folded. This poses a problem because any surface I set the device on, presses keys down. The only way I can get tablet mode to work is to manually trigger it in action center. I have to also keep the touch keyboard button in the system tray because it won't show up when I tap a text bar.


EDIT: it seems like this problem popped up after my hard disk got replaced.


Anyone have any ideas?
