In windows 10 the new file explorer search (indexing of contents) was working smoothly. It did even index my additions on pdf files, very useful when one wants to mark a detail of a document that can be useful for future reference. The Windows 10 machine was the perfect research tool Then came Windows 11. At first, for many months, the search thing was almost completely broken. The search worked only with file names. Then, some time ago, it started working again. But with some hicccups. Typed notes on pdf pages are no longer indexed. The indexing itself behaves odly. I the relevant window
