Windows 11 Windows 11 install can't tell if your PC has enough space to continue installing

The installation assistant stops at this point. I've rerun several times. There is one drive currently installed in this W10 machine. It has 765Gb of free space. Does Microsoft intend to fix this? Otherwise I can't install Windows 11 on this machine. Is there a work around?
