Windows 11 Windows 11 loses wifi access if external monitor is disconnected when laptop is powered down

As described by title, if I disconnect my 2nd monitor after shutting down my laptop, it loses the ability to connect to wifi-networks. (The icon for it does not appear, and wireless networks dont seem to be present in Settings either.)This can be fixed with network reset, but it is not an ideal solution.How should i go about troubleshooting this issue, and can this be caused by an incompatible monitor driver? (Monitor is old.)
