Attempted Solution:net stop wuauserv net stop cryptSvc net stop bits net stop msiserver ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old net start wuauserv net start cryptSvc net start bits net start msiserverHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ -> ServicesPipeTimeout -> Value data to 180000when i tried to start windows update service it show message "windows could not start the windows update service on local computer error 1053: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fash
