I'm building a new computer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900, 64GB RAM & 1 TB m.2 SSD. I purchased a Windows 11 Pro key from a valid reseller and downloaded the Windows 11 media creation tool to create a bootable USB from Microsoft. This seems to work until the install asks for the activation key; when the key is entered it produces the dreaded "We couldn't verify the product key. Please check your ..."The PC is plugged into the network with has internet access. I don't know if "can't verify" means it's a bad key or it needs to call home, but can't.
