Im using a headset with a mic. The device has only a single 3.5mm jack.The Windows laptop Im using has a single 3.5 mm jack on the side for mic and audio.The headset appears in the "Sound" settings. Only under "Playback". Under "recording" the Microphone attached to that same headset, connecting through the same port, does not appear.I have attempted to uninstall all my audio devices, and "scan for hardware changes" in Device Manager. This does not resolve the issue.The troubleshooter doesn't help.This happens much too frequently.
