Windows 11 Windows 11 shows no internet when connected to Ethernet - browsers/most programs work, but Windows Update fails

I'm connecting to the Internet through Ethernet, with wi-fi turned off. The bottom-right taskbar shows the NCSI icon for Connected (No internet), with the tooltip "Ethernet", "No internet access". However, I can connect to most websites and services.Running Windows Update produces the following error message:We couldn't check for updates because you aren't connected to the internet. Connect to the internet and try again.Under Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Hardware and connection properties, the Ethernet entry shows Status: Operational, but Connectivit
