Windows 11 windows 11 upgrade error occurred during the installation process and now my laptop says no operating system found how do i fix this

i was running on windows 7 microsoft was offering a free up grade to windows 11 and i was in need of an upgrade. started the clean install process it ran for a little bit then it said an error occurred and had to end the installation tried to restart from command prompt using the files it installed but that dodn't work because it said no operating system found now i have an unusable laptop how can i fix this without having to buy a new operating system? using my smartphone and a usb cable
