Windows 11 Windows 11 will not divide UCA 222 audio device stereo input into two mono inputs

The Behringer UCA 222 is a handy little audio interface that allows you to input audio into your computer and also provides output. The Focusrite 2i2 does a similar job.The UCA 222 installs nicely and works pretty well, but I have not been able to utilize the stereo input as a dual mono input. This seriously limits the utility of this device. The Focusrite 2i2 has a selector switch on the device that allows you to do this. I was able to do this briefly with the UCA 222, but for seem reason, it quit working. It is set for dual channels, something I had to do to get it going the first time. For
