Windows 11 windows 11 zip problems

so i am having problems with zipping files in windows 11. whenever i try to zip it, it just asks for an ap to open it, even though the default is set to file explorer meaning it should work.i have no idea why this is happening so if anyone can help, it would really be appreciated.
