Hey all,
I've recently tried to install the new Edge but the installer was blocked until I could install all the latest updates. This is when the problems started. I've always noticed that Windows updates were failing and rolling back on restarts but I never really paid real attention to it. Apparently I'm 2 years of updates behind schedule as I just discovered I'm only on 1803 while it's currently 2004.
Anyway, I spend a good portion of the past 2 days trying to force the update, trying many of the common fixes, SFC/DISM etc. which obviously didn't work.
Then I tried to update it manually from the ISOs - I tried 2004 then 1909, 1903, 1809 in that order. Obviously didn't work either. Was getting stuck at "we're having difficulty determining if your PC can run Windows 10".
I've also uninstalled AVAST.
Cue loads of Googling again, checked if it was the Active partition (not issue as it was GPT and there is a System partition). Totally lost at what to do next so I'm just attaching the logs here hoping someone can help.
