The problem I am having with my computer right now is that whenever I am using the computer and our home internet goes out (shuts off completely) Windows 7 completely freezes and stops responding. I can only move the mouse and open basic programs like task manager and note pad but nothing else sometimes, I can get the computer to reboot normally and sometimes I have to do a Hard reboot. And it happens on every computer that I own. All of my computers are virus free and are not affected negatively in any way by any of my security software so any suggestions about anti-virus or having viruses in this thread will be ignored.
This issue even happens after clean installs of windows 7 and it only happens when the home internet completely goes out. So does anyone know what I can do so that windows 7 doesn't freeze up when the internet shuts off? Please note that I am using a hard wired connection but the issue happens the same way on a wireless connection.
