Windows 11 Windows asks for an app when compressing files windows 11

Whenever I attempt to compress a file to a zip using the Windows 11 right-click menu it does not work, but if I click more options then send to and zip it works fine. I have tried a lot of times to find a solution but I just can't get it to work, these include: resseing default apps, removing 7-zip, revalidating windows and using dism to try and repair the files.
