I have upgraded my CPU, RAM and motherboard. My current setup is:

  • Gigabyte B450M DS3H, latest BIOS installed
  • AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz (no XMP profile enabled)
  • GTX 1050 Ti

(I have done all the steps mentioned here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/windows-10-performance-and-install-integrity/75529fd4-fac7-4653-893a-dd8cd4b4db00)

The problem: My PC keeps crashing about 1-2 times per day since I upgraded hardware. I formatted all drives and installed a fresh Windows 10. First I had a BSOD with the "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" "Error: Ntfs.sys" error code. The next crash happened the next day when I was using Unity editor, the PC turned off suddenly. After that, the next error The screen went dark but the PC didn't turn off. I could only turn it off by turning off the power supply, nothing else worked. Today when I turned on the PC the screen was completely blue, no error or any text. This time the restart button on the computer case worked, the PC rebooted successfully. After opening the event viewer, I had 10 application errors with the following paths:

C:\Windows\system32\LogonUI.exe

C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\StartMenuExperienceHost.exe

C:\Windows\system32\dwm.exe (this error 8 times)
