Excuse the dramatic title but this issue has been going on for months now! I actually thought it had resolved itself but tonight has reared it's head yet again.Here's what happens:1. My laptop - which is working fine - suddenly starts to become unresponsive and slow down to the point where even reading an email becomes next to impossible.2. I check Task Manager and discover Disk is at 100.3. I check Windows Update and there's updates going through at an alarmingly slow rate. They look like familiar updates too.
