Windows 10 is the safest operating system bla bla bla bla…..
First of all, let me tell you a few things:
1. Windows Defender DOES NOT remove adware and malicious extensions from your browser. I noticed that today, when I booted my pc and Microsoft edge opened and redirected me to a malicious web URL (I recognized it, not windows defender, I closed the tab immidiately). I run a full scan, and It detected nothing (see picture 1). I was sure this had something to do with an "adware thing" so I downloaded MALWAREBYTES, since windows defender is unable to protect me. After a full scan with Malwarebytes, it came up with these results (see picture 2). I don't know how this infected my pc as I don't visit weird sites, but anyway, windows defender gave me ZERO warnings. That issue had another user: WINDOWS DEFENDER CAN'T STOP ADWARE & MALWARE...
2. Windows Defender DOES NOT have web protection (see picture 3). Well of course it doesn't have, I noticed it before.
3. Windows Defender has a buggy menu. We all know cases where windows defender said that it removed a virus, but still has a red icon in notification icon and inside the app, in the "virus and threat protection".
4. If you do a little search on the community (in windows defender section) you will see multiple questions and problems with defender. For example "windows defender can't start" or "windows defender can't update" or "windows defender is managed by organization". If Microsoft can't even solve these, then you have to use another antivirus program.
5. Even Microsoft specialists/advisors RECOMMEND other programs to clean your pc (for example Malwarebytes, far better from windows defender), because they know that windows defender sucks and can't remove certain viruses (see picture 4).
So, do you still trust Windows Defender? Well you shouldn't.
We are just laboratory animals for their program.
Thank you Microsoft. We love you!
