For more than 10 years we are commercializing a software for .NET developers that works on all Windows platforms from XP to 10.
The redistributable is a .zip files that contains our software .NET assemblies .exe and .dll files.
We know for a fact that our .exe and .dll that we compile don't contain any virus or malware.
Nevertheless, we noticed that since August 2017, when we upload a new version online, some of our users are reporting problems such as the one below:
Yesterday (Oct5 2017) we submitted our .zip redistributable file as a false positive to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission?persona=SoftwareDeveloper
with this ID https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/submission/d828f84c-100d-4228-b343-43b255edf027
We got a no malware detected status but the Final determination is still pending for more than 30 hours.
This is a very unconfortable situation for us and for our users, how to get this solved asap?
Thanks
/Patrick
