Hi everyone,

I need some help regarding windows defender real-time protection. My computer was attacked with a virus when I was installing a program. After the attack, I can't turn on my Windows Defender Real-Time Protection as it is stated that the setting can only be managed by the administrator. However, my account is already the administrator for this laptop. I have used several AV to clear out the virus such as Malwarebytes and adwcleaner. The AV had clear out all of the virus, but my windows defender real-time protection still can't be accessed. I had also activated the administrator account through the command prompt (net user administrator /active:yes) but still not working. I have also tried the solution of changing EnableLUA to 0. There are also a lot more solutions that I tried that I can't even remember. However, after all that, The Windows Defender was able to be turned ON, with the exception, I still don't have access to turn it ON/OFF manually. I have provided a screenshot below. I'm writing this in hope that there is another solution to this as I don't want to resort to formatting.

Thank you in advanced!
