Windows 10 Windows deleting files and folders at start up to resolve 'system errors'

Every day or so, my PC (Windows 10) tells me it needs to restart to resolve system errors, and then deletes most (but not all) recently update files and folders back to the same date each time. All file types seem to be affected.It also does it every couple of days at start-up. It seems it might be systematically repairing the D:\ drive as that is what is shown on screen during the reboot.All my old files and folders before the time it started this problem seem to be untouched. So far I've;a) Performed a Command Line ChkDsk in Safe Mode as administratorb) Deleted several odd (new) user profile
