I was testing the prevalence of my laptop's screen turning black, since it's been an issue for me for a while. I've found it to be common for the screen to turn black during gaming. However, I've recently gotten the luck for my screen to turn black for only a short moment, which is when I realized that Windows Explorer is the one at fault here after looking at Task Manager. Windows Explorer managed to spike to 10% CPU usage, which it's usually at 0% or 0.1%. Eventually, I got lucky again, and I was able to confirm that this was part of the cause of the screen blackouts.
