Windows 11 Windows Explorer issues with JPEG files

This is a really strange behaviour. I have a folder containing files with the JPG extension, some of which have been generated using Photoshop's AI-based "Generative Fill" feature, and which therefore contain a JUMBF header block (as well as the usual EXIF headers and so on). When, in Windows Explorer, I search for "*.jpg", these files are not shown, whereas if I open a command prompt, navigate to the folder, and execute "dir *.jpg", they are. If I edit one of the images so as to remove the JUMBF block, it is included in the search as expected. I am also seeing other strange behaviour with the
