Windows 11 Windows Explorer search issue from Home location.

Windows Explorer used to default to the documents folder. I could easily search for files using the search bar. With Windows 11, it now defaults to the Home location. If I try to search for files, nothing happens. I have to manually click on documents before the search feature works. I've tried to change my default Windows Explorer location to Documents, but it isn't listed. I've updated my index as well. Nothing seems to fix the problem.
