Windows 10 windows hello wont let me see my chrome passwords

hello! im trying to see my chrome passwords on my PC, but whenever I put in my windows hello pin, it just...doesn't register anything. it's not like i remembered my PIN wrong. it works to sign into other stuff. however, when it comes to chrome specificially, it doesnt work. it just...doesnt do anything. i was wondering what i could do to fix this? thanks!
