The PC I am using shipped with Windows 8.1 that was already activated I am pretty sure (it was back in 2015) and I used the free upgrade to Windows 10 when it was available.
Since Windows 10 Home is activated with a digital license that is linked to my MS account, would this mean I can install Windows 10 Home on new hardware/different computer and sign in using my MS account and then it would activate Windows automatically? Would it work for all users? And would I be able to use previous versions of Windows and activate it like that?
