Windows 11 Windows Magnifier docked mode stopped working after putting two Windows side by side

When starting to use Magnifier for the first time ever, the docked mode was working fine, with the magnified Window across the top and the non-magnified Window on the bottom. I could adjust the two Window sizes vertically. I played around with resizing these two related Windows, and I created somehow two side by side related Windows in docked mode, one not magnified and one magnified. The two Windows were still correctly related in that the cursor in the non-magnified Window controlled what the user sees in the magnified Window.But now in docked mode there is no magnified Window at all.
