Windows 10 Windows Mail and Outlook Mail Compatibility on a 2019 intel Macbook Pro?

Most recently bought a 2019 Apple refurb Macbook Pro 16" /16GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD. My 4th intel chipped Mac and the first where I've attempted to install Windows 10 Home through Bootcamp. After 3 days of blood, sweat and tears, I've progressed to the point where neither Windows Mail and Outlook Mail will function.My question: Are Windows Mail and Outlook Mail incompatible with a partitioned Mac installation? Most recently, after getting non stop notifications that my 'email account settings' were 'out of date', I changed the account password as recommended by Microsoft - the notifications went
