Windows 7 Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file

I have tried the Windows Media player auto repair tool, which did not work, I have played the same video I'm trying to play now a couple of days ago. I'm not quite sure what to do next?


The file I'm trying to open is a mp4 file, the WMP is also not playing any audio (mp3) files also. The video does play in VLC player, but as its slower and doesn't play any audio I kinda want to fix WMP
