Windows 7 Windows Media Player is not playing a WMV video

Windows Media Player is not playing a WMV video file on some machines whereas it is playing on other machines. Given two machines with the same configuration, video will not play in one machine whereas it plays well in another machine. Also, in the same machine, video plays well in one user account and streaming is intermittent in another user account of the same machine.


Our WPF application is invoking the WMPlayer for playing videos. Kindly guide me to resolve this issue.


Video properties:

Frame Rate: 29 frames/second

Data rate: 5500 kbps

Total bitrate: 5692 kbps

Protected: No
