Windows 11 Windows Media Player isn't letting me burn my CD. How do I fix this? (Details below)

I am trying to burn a CD, my computer doesn't have an insert so I bought a USB DVD drive to burn them with. I have done it before and it worked but I tried to burn a second CD and I set all of the songs up in Windows Media Player in the location where it says burn but it won't let me hit the button itself to burn the CD. It just says connect a burner and restart the player. How do I fix this?
