Windows 11 Windows Media Player Legacy Not using "Maintain my star rating as global ratings in files" setting

I'm using Windows 11 now just coming from Windows 10 on the same PC and the Star ratings are not being saved. Even though the "Maintain my star rating as global ratings in files" is already set. I think it was there by default.The older songs that I had in Windows 10 still have there ratings and the can be seen in file explorer and any Windows install.The ratings can also be seen when I boot into another Windows 11 install but the new ratings are not there at all. I can only see them in the Windows Media Player where they were added.
