Windows 10 Windows Search, Taskbar right click and Show Available Networks still not working even after 20H2 update

I have had issues with Windows 10 functionality ever since the first major Win10 update was done on my laptop. after the upgrade from Win 7. Initially everything work as it was supposed to, but after the update several problems manifested which even after several major feature updates the problems still persists. I was under the impression that a major upgrade like 20H2 is almost like a re-install but it seems not. Can anyone suggest how to fix theses problems: (see solution below) 1. Windows Search - nothing happens when I click Search on the Start Menu or Task
