Lucy Lu with no clue what to do

Hi All, I'm a remote worker and am having issues with the recent Windows update. The update downloads, but it cannot be installed. A friend has told me to stop my firewall for the updates, but I'm not sure if this is a safe way to fix the issue. I'm not very tech-savvy and a bit clueless about what to do, if I'm honest!Any advice is much appreciated!
