Windows 11 Windows update for recovery won't work - see error message- do I need to rebuild the entire pc from scratch again ?

I found an unknown user on my pc and noticed some odd network activity (a window opens and closes rapidly each time I reset the network adaptor to default. I tried to reinstall the WIndows os using windows update which I did the other day and it worked great. Today I ran into an issue.Also, when looking at the device manager to look at the network adaptor settings, I saw some other settings that looked strange. I have 6 core processors listed--all the same one and two computers . . . . one says acpi 64 and the other is Lenovo which is what should be showing. See the attached images. You'l
