Windows 11 Windows Update issues, removed icons from desktop among other function(s)

Hello,I just downloaded a new Windows Update for Windows 11 (version 23H2) through restarting my computer (i.e. "Update and restart") and it seems to have caused some problems for my computer that I am unsure on how to fix. All of my icons- from the desktop to everything in File Explorer- are gone, though the apps, folders, and files are still visible through their names. I can still open these, but only through clicking the name of the app / folder / file.
