Windows 11 Windows Update "Something didn't go as planned" Restarting in Loop after Driver Power State Failure

As summarized above, a Lenovo laptop running Windows 11 attempted to restart to install a Windows update. The update gets to about 96% completion, then blue screens with the error DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, before displaying the "Something didn't go as planned, undoing changes" screen, powering down, and restarting to re-attempt the update. This cycle repeats itself.Already booted into repair mode and attempted to have windows auto-repair whatever issue occurred, it did not work.
