Windows 10 Windows Updates Causing Crash

I have a Dell XPS that I bought in 2017. It has been awesome and I haven't had any big issues until now. About 2 months ago there were some updates (I don't know what they were. I install updates automatically), and soon after they were installed Windows 10 would not boot up. I would get the blue error screen and it turned into a cycle where it wouldn't boot up and I'd end up at the recovery options screen. Over the past month I have been assisted by Dell technicians in resetting the pc and reinstalling Windows from a usb drive. I've done this twice now and each time the pc works fine until updates are installed. I don't know which update is causing the problem or how to find out. I also don't know what updates are necessary. If anyone has had/is having a similar experience and knows how to fix the problem I would greatly appreciate some advice.

Also, seemingly unrelated, the camera on my laptop doesn't work. It hasn't been working for a long time now, predating the update issue. I know it is not a hardware issue because when I have reset and reinstalled Windows during the update issue and then open the camera app, for a brief second it works and then brings up an error about not being able to find the camera. I've done a little investigating on the internet and went into device manager. The "camera" option is not there, although once when I was in device manager it kept appearing and disappearing. I would appreciate help with this too.

Thanks to everyone in advance!
