Windows 7 WIPE OUT ALL FILES FROM AN OLD LAPTOP BEFORE GIVING IT AWAY AND REINSTALLING WINDOWS 7 WITHOUT AN INSTALLATION DISC

I am giving away my old hp laptop and need to wipe out its contents. The laptop has a built-in windows 7, therefore, there is no installation disc. I believe that if i erase everything the windows software will also disappear. Still, I have the windows key that came when I purchased the laptop (ten years ago). Then, how can i reinstall windows 7 by using such a key but, again, without the Windows software disc? can i download it from anywhere? many thanks
