Windows 11 Wireless Display Adapter app crashes when trying to connect

I have just downloaded the latest app from the store (windows 11, insider, fully up to date).I just bought a brand new 4k wireless display adapter.If I connect to the wireless display from Windows and then start the app, it crashes immediately.If I disconnect the display and start the app it stops on the "couldn't find an adapter" screen, but does not crash.I conclude that it is crashing immediately upon connecting to the adapter.There is an Application Error event log "Faulting application name: WirelessDisplayAdapter.exe"The module that is failing is Faulting module
