Windows 11 X-Box series controller won't connect.

Hi I have a xbox series controller that won't connect to my windows 11 laptop but foes connect to my wi dows 10 pc. On my laptop it won't connect either through Bluetooth or through a USB type c wire. On my PC it connects through both.I have updated windows 11 on my laptop and it is fully up to date. I have tried restarting my PC and resetting the controller. I have tried using the windows accessories app to update the controller, but it cannot detect the controller as plugged in and cannot progress further.
